One of our representatives will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport terminal to welcome you after you arrive. He will then take you to your hotel and rest of the day is free for you to relax. Later, in the evening, you will meet with your guide and he will brief you about your trip. You will end your day with delicious traditional welcome dinner. Overnight in the hotel.
Pikey Peak Trek Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival day at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazar
After having breakfast, you will begin your drive towards Dhap Bazar in a private tourist van/bus. Following the Sunkoshi River, Tamakoshi River, and Koshi River you will reach Ghurmi. Further, you will drive along the dense forest of rhododendron and pass by numerous settlements area before reaching Dhap Bazar. You will stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 3 Explore Chagestan and Trek to Jhapre
You will wake up early and have your breakfast. After that, you will explore Chagestan. Further, you will begin trekking along a dusty road that will take you to Sigane. From here, you will again trek on a rugged trail and reach Jhapre, which is a famous viewpoint in northern Nepal. You will get to see a clear and fantastic view of Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and Numbur Himal from here. You will stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 4 Trek to Bhulbhule to Pikey Base Camp
Today, you will wake up early in the morning to see gorgeous sunrise along with snow-capped mountains, a perfect storybook scenery! Further, you will continue your trek on a dusty road and ascend uphill to reach Bhulbhule. The trail soon becomes steep and ascend through a forest of rhododendron along with small settlements. You will reach Lhamuje and trail from here take you to a pasture, basically a yak grazing land. You will also visit Yak Cheese Factory and stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 5 Ascent Pikey Peak and Trek to Jase Bhanjyang or Loding
You will begin your trekking along a steep rocky ridgeline to reach the Pikey Peak (4,065 m). After reaching the top of the peak, you will get to see spectacular views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Thamserku (6,623 m), Mt. Gaurishankar (7,134 m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Mt. Manaslu (8,156 m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m), and many more. After spending some time, you will descend down to Jase Bhanjyang or Loding. You will descend on a steep forested trail. You will stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 6 Trek to Junbesi
You will descend down the ridgeline at Jase Bhanjyang. From here, you will have few options to descend to Junbesi. You will take a shortcut that leaves the ridge and descends through steep forest. You will reach Taktor and from here, around a couple of hours trek will take you to Junbesi. Junbesi is a Sherpa village. You will stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 7 Trek to Phaplu
You will descend down on a dusty trail along the Junbesi Khola and reach a steel suspension bridge. Further, you will cross the bridge and reach Beni Ghat. From here, you will continue trekking to reach Phaplu where you will stay overnight in a lodge. On the way, you will also get to see stunning scenic views.

Day 8 Drive or Flight from Phaplu to Kathmandu
You have two options to head back to Kathmandu either by driving or flying. The drive will be long and present your outskirts of Nepal. Whereas, the flight will be short and scenic. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel. In the evening, you will stroll on the bustling streets of Thamel and end your day with a farewell dinner.

Day 9 Final Departure Day
You will be taken to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back to your home as per your flight time.
