Manaslu Circuit Trek is also known as Manaslu Larke La Pass Trek that will take you to the northwest of Kathmandu to the lap of Mt. Manaslu. Rising 8,163 meters above the sea level, Mt. Manalsu is the eight highest mountain. Manaslu Circuit Trekking is one of the most famous treks in the Manaslu region, yet only a handful of trekkers visits this place every year. Opened in1991 AD for travelers, this region will present you the rich culture, unique lifestyle, breath-taking landscape, and stunning Himalayan mountain views. During Manaslu Circuit Trek, you will get to see beautiful views of Annapurna range (8,091 m), Himalchuli, Mt. Ngadi Chuli, Ganesh Himal, Mt. Shringi, and many other snow-laden mountains. 

Culture and tradition in Manaslu region

The fewer visits of travelers, the trekking trail of this region are less crowded and pristine. Even in the peak season, you will only see countable numbers of trekkers here. During the trek, you will pass by many secluded villages like Lho, Sama Gaun, and Samdo where you will get to observe rich culture, beliefs, and daily lifestyle of people residing here. On the way, several gompas, chortens, and prayer flags will also show you the ancient tradition of the region. You will visit ancient Pungyen Monastery,  hole lake known as Dudh Kunda, crossing Larke La Pass along with enjoying gorgeous views of Manaslu glacier.

Food and Accommodation during Manaslu Circuit Trek

You will stay in 2 or 3 stars hotel in Kathmandu and in tea house/guest house during the Manaslu Circuit trekking. All the rooms will be on twin sharing basis with common washrooms during the trek.

During Manaslu Circuit Trek, you will get served food bases on teahouse/guest house menu. There will a good variety of food along with that snacks & bars can be found on the trail. In Kathmandu, you will find a huge variety of cuisine. You will only get breakfast in Kathmandu. There will also be welcome and farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

Manaslu Circuit Trek difficulty

Manaslu Circuit Trek is a moderate journey in the Himalayas. This trek is perfect for to have some trekking experience before going on tougher and more challenging treks. 

You don't need to have prior trekking experience to do this trek. However, every day you have to trek for around 5 to 6 hours, which does require good physical fitness, determination, and good stamina. This is a perfect trek for someone especially novice trekkers who want to taste the beauty of raw Himalayas.

Best time to go on Manaslu Circuit Trek

Spring (March-May) and Autumn (September-November) is the best time to go on Manaslu Circuit Trek 15-days. During Spring and Autumn, the region presents captivating views of the mountain landscapes and trail also become extremely beautiful.
